This summer, we're expanding our music program. Sponsored by Zankel Music Fund, these screenings are paired with live music performances that deepen each film's sonic landscape.
Performances will take place just before sunset, featuring a diverse spectrum of artists including acclaimed Rockaway-based jazz musician Irwin Hall; interdisciplinary artist and sound healing practitioner Lavender Suarez; experimental ambient rock band Order of the Illusive; local Grateful Dead cover band Rainbow Spirals; and Rockaway Chamber Music, which returns to the Arverne Cinema for their fourth summer of bringing classical music to the peninsula.
