This essential coming-of-age follows three best friends (Annabeth Gish, Lili Taylor, and Julia Roberts in one of her earliest roles) working at a pizzeria in the seaside town of Mystic, Connecticut. They navigate life and love in the summer after high school, slinging pies while daydreaming about escaping their small town to pursue their ambitions.
