After a twenty-year hiatus, stop-motion legends the Quay Brothers return with a bewitching adaptation of Polish writer Bruno Schulz’s 1937 book where a young man boards a train that carries him into a world suspended in time, half awake and half asleep. With exquisite handmade sets and meticulously controlled puppetry, the Brothers raise a staggering labyrinth teetering on the edge of dreams.
