While hanging an exhibition of photographs documenting the history of Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements, a young woman notices the glaring absence of women, and is suddenly propelled back in time. Wandering through real and imaginary landscapes, she uncovers the collective memory of Arab women throughout the twentieth century, weaving together folklore, oral testimony, archival footage, and stunning fantasy sequences. This newly restored political fable unfolds in a dreamlike panorama of an untold history of resistance.
